ゲリラゲームズが手がけるPS5『Horizon Forbidden West（ホライゾン 禁じられた西部）』。新しいプレイ映像が公開されたが、主人公アーロイの顔が「ブサイク」と海外で物議を醸した。
主人公アーロイのモデルは、オランダ人女優のハンナ・フックストラさんだ。
しかし最新作では彼女とは似つかない男性的な顔に変貌。前作と比べても顔が少し丸みを帯び、これに失望と嫌悪感を抱いた一部ファンからは「デブ」「醜い」などの批判が相次いだ。
SNSでも大議論となり”Aloy”がトレンド化するまでに至っている。

I think that's just a very unflattering angle, she looks pretty fine here. Not exactly your valley girl but she's got a sort of homeliness that fits the techno cavewoman aesthetic.
